What We Do

Two Practice Areas.
One Inclusive Standard.

We operate at the intersection of three disciplines that rarely collaborate: accessibility compliance, growth marketing, and product engineering.

Accessible Branding & Marketing

We audit, redesign, and relaunch brand communications to meet accessibility standards across print, digital, and experiential channels.

Accessibility Brand Audit

Evaluate all brand touchpoints against WCAG 2.2, ADA, and inclusive design best practices. Receive a prioritized remediation report with severity rankings.

Inclusive Brand Redesign

WCAG AA/AAA compliant color palettes, dyslexia-friendly typography, representative imagery guidelines, and comprehensive alt text strategy.

Content Accessibility

Plain language rewrites, video captioning and audio description, accessible PDF creation, and document remediation services.

Training & Workshops

Hands-on accessibility training for marketing, design, and development teams. Campaign pipeline reviews, inclusive design workshops, and certification prep.

Facility & Digital Accessibility Engineering

We assess and engineer accessibility improvements across physical environments and digital properties — the two dimensions most companies fail simultaneously.

ADA Facility Assessment

On-site inspection of physical spaces against ADA Standards — parking, entrances, restrooms, wayfinding, emergency egress, and service counters.

Digital Audit & Remediation

WCAG 2.2 Level AA/AAA audits with screen reader testing, keyboard navigation review, and code-level remediation or developer handoff.

Assistive Technology

Wayfinding systems, hearing loop installation consulting, accessible signage design, and assistive technology integration.

Monitoring Retainer

Ongoing monthly compliance monitoring for digital properties, quarterly facility re-assessments, and legal risk reporting.

Who We Are

Accessibility should be the standard — not the exception.

Standard Accessibility is a marketing and engineering consultancy purpose-built to help organizations become genuinely inclusive. We are not a legal compliance vendor. We are a marketing and engineering partner that happens to make your business more accessible — and in doing so, makes it more profitable.

We are the only firm positioned to address branding, digital engineering, AND physical facilities under one roof — with a growth marketing lens that frames accessibility as a revenue strategy, not just compliance.

Inclusion First

Every engagement starts with centering the experience of people with disabilities.

Standards-Grounded

We base our work on ADA, WCAG, Section 508, and ISO 21542.

Business Clarity

We translate compliance into competitive strategy, not just legal risk management.

Continuous Learning

Accessibility standards evolve. We stay current so our clients don't have to.

The Business Case

Accessibility is not optional.
It's a growth strategy.

$13 Trillion Market

People with disabilities represent over $13 trillion in annual disposable income globally. Businesses that are not accessible are leaving revenue on the table.

Litigation Risk

ADA digital accessibility lawsuits have increased significantly year-over-year. Proactive compliance costs a fraction of reactive legal defense.

Evolving Standards

WCAG 2.2 and upcoming WCAG 3.0 standards are driving a wave of digital remediation projects. Getting ahead now saves time and money.

Aging Population

10,000 Baby Boomers turn 65 every day — creating sustained, growing demand for accessible products, spaces, and communications.

FAQ

Common questions about accessibility compliance.

What is WCAG 2.2 and does my business need to comply?

WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is the international standard for digital accessibility, published by the W3C. While not a law itself, WCAG Level AA is referenced by the ADA, Section 508, and most accessibility regulations worldwide. If your business operates a website, app, or digital service used by the public, you should be meeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA at minimum.

What is an ADA facility assessment?

An ADA facility assessment is an on-site inspection of your physical space against the ADA Standards for Accessible Design. We evaluate parking, entrances, restrooms, wayfinding, service counters, and emergency egress. You receive a prioritized corrective action plan with cost estimates and timelines.

How long does an accessibility audit take?

A digital accessibility audit typically takes 2-4 weeks depending on the size and complexity of your web property. Facility assessments can be completed in 1-2 days on-site, with the report delivered within 10 business days. Combined audits (digital + physical) usually take 3-5 weeks end to end.

Can you help us avoid an ADA lawsuit?

Proactive compliance is the strongest defense. Our audits identify and prioritize your highest-risk issues so you can remediate before a demand letter arrives. While no audit can guarantee immunity from litigation, a documented accessibility program with ongoing monitoring demonstrates good faith and significantly reduces legal exposure.

What is the difference between automated and manual accessibility testing?

Automated tools like axe and WAVE catch about 30-40% of accessibility issues — things like missing alt text, contrast failures, and broken form labels. Manual testing catches the other 60-70%: keyboard navigation, screen reader usability, logical reading order, and whether the content actually makes sense to users with disabilities. We do both.

Do you offer ongoing monitoring after the audit?

Yes. Our monitoring retainers ($1,500-$5,000/month) include continuous automated scanning of your digital properties, quarterly facility re-assessments, legal risk reporting, and priority support for new content and feature launches. Most clients start with a one-time audit and transition to monitoring after remediation is complete.
